Location/ University looks/ reachability

10 september 2019 - Madrid, Spanje

The University of Rey Juan Carlos, the Campus of Vicalvaro, looks well maintained and is a big Campus, including a residence for students. The centre of the Campus has nice-looking palm trees and is a great place to get some sunshine or to meet other students. Throughout all of the buildings a lot natural sunlight is allowed in, which is very pleasant. Furthermore, in the winter and fall most of the building and the classrooms are extremely cold, which has had a negative influence on different aspects of studying, including motivation, concentration and thermal comfort when at school. The toilets are often either not cleaned, or insufficiently cleaned. Overall the Campus is an okay location, to be studying. The Campus is easily reached by either the subway or the bus.  A downside to this location is the fact that it is a trip of approximately 45 minutes from the city centre. Aside from this it is perfectly reachable.
